The Prizery Hosts Bobby BlackHat Band and Blues in the School Workshop

The Prizery is excited to welcome Bobby BlackHat Band for a high-energy evening of live blues music on Saturday, February 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

In addition to the evening performance, Bobby BlackHat Band will lead a Blues in the Schools Workshop for local band students earlier that day. This hands-on educational experience will give students the opportunity to learn directly from professional musicians, explore blues techniques, and gain insight into live performance skills. There is no charge to the students for the workshop, funded in part by the Ann and Sterling Edmunds Scholarship for the Arts.

Students interested in participating in the workshop should contact The Prizery at (434) 572-8339 for more information.

During the evening concert, workshop participants will take the stage to showcase their new skills, making this a truly special community-focused event that highlights both education and performance.

This unforgettable event combines live music, youth education, and community collaboration and is not to be missed.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting prizery.org, by calling The Prizery at (434) 572-8339, or in person at The Prizery during regular business hours, Wednesday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

This project was supported, in part, by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, which receives support from the Virginia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
